New York turning red for Rudy…

A new poll done by Quinnipiac University shows Rudy only 8 points behind Hillary in his home state of New York (Hillary leads 50-42 percent). President Bush lost the state by 18 points against Kerry in 2004. The fact that Rudy is within single digits of Hillary in one of the bluest states in the country proves that Giuliani is the most electable Republican candidate. Rudy ties Barack Obama in NY, 44-44 percent. Rudy’s favorability rating in NY is 55 percent, extremely close to Hillary’s 58 percent favorability.

With Giuliani in the race, polls have shown many reliably “blue” states in play or swinging to the Republican side: Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, and now New York.

Pennsylvania indeed. I have made it my full time hobby to ensure Hizzoner wins my Commonwealth. Step one is moving up our embarassing relic of a primary.
